cdrtfe is a GPL cd/dvd burning program. It is a frontend for cdrtools. I've tried it out and it seems to work well and has more features than my OEM version of Nero. All in all it looks to be a very nice program and already has a portable version, just needs '.pafing' .

Anyway, it's a good program, check it out.
Nice, I will have to try this. I have been looking for a burner that will work with my eclectic selection of optical drives. Maybe this is the one!
