No LibreOffice app will launch (tried on 2 different PC's)

Hello!

I havn't used any Libre Office app since may 1 (which I know from the date on the last created document) and now when I try to launch any of them they wont open. There was an update May 12 so something must have happened. I have tried it on two different PC's with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit. I would prefer not to re-install since I've made certain changes but I can't remember what they are.

Have a nice day!

Edit: I made a fresh installation in a different folder and it works. Something in the last update must have broken my old installation.

There seems to be an issue with the launcher. When I observe what happens in the task manager I see that that it opens 3 different processes (the launcher exe plus two regular exe's) and they immediately gets killed. It is not blocked by windows defender.

Extension or Configuration

It's like you had an extension installed that conflicted or your configuration became corrupt. This can happen between versions, even in a local install. You can reset the settings of your portable version by deleting your Data folder.

Thanks for answering! I have

Thanks for answering! I have not installed any extension, I have made some changes but I don't remember what they are, I think they had something to do with standard font in Impress which wasn't straight forward, I think it wasn't even set in Impress but in Writer. Well well, it's not much to do about, I'll find the instructions again. BTW, is it safer to run the Still version in this concern?

Corruption

Changing something like fonts won't cause issues. The other common thing that can happen is corruption if it's a removable drive, especially if it isn't safely ejected. If it is removable, I'd suggest scanning for errors to be safe.

Fresh is quite stable and I encounter no issues with it. I use it as my daily office suite.
