I've posted a pre-release of PuTTY Portable for folks to try out. PuTTY is an SSH/Telnet client that lets you securely connect in to your server.
I created this one for myself for work I was doing on the PortableApps.com site and realized I hadn't yet posted it, so here it is.
It backs up and restores the local PuTTY settings stored in the PC's registry. It uses the new move/copy methods I introduced in Miranda IM Portable so that the local settings are never moved out of the registry, just moved aside while the portable one is running. (Even if the PC crashes, you can just fire up any copy of PuTTY Portable, even a blank one, and the settings are properly restored.)
I know about PortaPutty, but I figured I'd post this as an option for folks that want to use the standard Putty builds (maybe even trying one of the newer test builds). putty.exe is UPXed to save space. The putty.chm help file is included, but you can remove it to save another 400K of space. Even with the help file, launcher and AppInfo, PuTTY Portable is only 738K. The other PuTTY commandline utilities are not included with this package.
