PortableAppsMenu.exe generates error

Today I started to use this cool set of lightweight portable applications.

Howeverr, when I tried to start the 'StartPortableApps.exe' (located in the root of my USB flash drive, I got the following application error 'Exception EOSError in module PortableAppsMenu.exe at 0000DA65. System error. Code: 87. The parameter is incorrect.'

Is there anybody experiencing the same problems and do any of you what may cause this and how it can be solved?

FYI: all the applications work if I run them via their own program folder (e.g. FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe).

Thank you all for your replies and possible solutions.

Maybe your

download got corrupted.
Re-download and try again.

No luck

Thank you for the suggestion Simeon, but I'm afraid it isn't the solution... Sad

I downloaded the full suite again, and installed it again to the root of my USB stick as requested, but the same error appears.

Any other ideas/suggestions? Please let me know!

Thanks,
Tom

Youre using Win 2000, arent you?

I googled your error and it came up with this
So: search before you post.

(If this may sound mean or negative, it is not!
I was surprised myself that google gave me this.)
