The purpose of Tinn-R project is to facilitate the learning and use of all the potentiality of R environment for statistical computing.

It is a project registered under the General Public License GPL, that is, an open source software.

looked earlier

I looked earlier today and I think this is good work, I don't have a practical use so haven't tried your PAF but do think your effort should be supported.

I know there are other R related projects here, how do you think they meld together?

(I am not seeing conflict, BTW)

Thanks for support, Wm. We're about to release a new version for portableapps plataform soon.

All projects I found here were related to other R editors, like you, I'm not seeing any conflicts.

I wanna know, if it's possible, how can we submit the project to the portableapps main list, and how we can give support (updates release) to it.

Changes in new version:

- Now, Tinn-R will search in all letters of the system drives for the fully informed path of R, what is very useful in the portable flavors due to letters changes in different computers.

-The visibility of all PageControl TabSheets caption were improved.

Tinn-R portable

This looks like a very useful project. I use R and think this will make it easier to integrate R with reporting and writing lectures. Thanks for making this an PortableApp.

Application update to 4.0.3.7 (Install version/ Portable version/ PortableApps version). Already avaiable on download link (PortableApps version).

Changes in new version:

• The procedure to open a remote file from an URL was improved to
site wich security.
• If the user choice in Options/Application/R/Patch (R) is No to
Use latest installed version (always) option, in the startup,
Tinn-R will search in all letters of the system drives for the fully

• R will be always started with two options:
– options(pkgType=’binary’)
