Google Chrome Issue

I am encountering an issue... I am using the portable Google Chrome and when I upgrade to GoogleChromePortable64_45.0.2454.85 and the launch when it is finished, it crashes immediately. Fresh install on this version does the same. Reinstall to 44.0.2403.157 and it works fine. Upgrade to 45 fails immediately on launch. I tried the experimental 64bit version and it works fine. I am at a loss... Other updates in the past have had no issue. Advice? Thoughts?

System:
Win10 basic 64
16GB RAM
1TB HD with 400MB free, PA is running in a folder on the root of my system partition, and has been running like that since I first started using PA...

-=-EDIT-=-
GoogleChromePortable_45.0.2454.85_online.paf is what crashes on first launch. GoogleChromePortable_44.0.2403.157_online.paf works fine. GoogleChromePortable64_45.0.2454.85_online.paf works fine.

There's a known

There's a known incompatibility between the installed 64-bit Version of Google Chrome and Windows 10, which will carry over to the portable version. Google is supposed to be working on a fix for a future release.

Thank you for the reply and

Thank you for the reply and letting me know about the known error. In my situation, I have been using the 32bit client and the latest version of the 32bit one is what is crashing. The 64 runs ok. The previous 32bit works fine. I will hold out until the next version comes out and hope that it resolves my issue.

-=-EDIT-=- My apologies, I just realized I flubbed up in my original post. I have been running the 32 bit only since it came out. As mentioned in this post, the 64 runs ok. The 32 is what crashes. Sorry for the mistake on my part.

I'm encountering exactly the

I'm encountering exactly the same issue with 45.0.2454.85 versus 44.0.2403.157 -- I had to rollback to 44, because 45 crashed on launch -- two different external drives, tried on two different laptops, each of them successfully running previous versions of Google Chrome Portable since I got them, one and two years ago.

Both running Win8.1 64-bit
a) 12GB RAM, 1TB HD
b) 4GB RAM, 500GB HD

Not Portable-Specific

This is not portable specific. I've noticed that locally installed Chrome now crashes with some versions within my clean VM on Windows XP and Windows 7. It's gotten progressively less stable the last few versions.

Most of the time, you can restart it after its crash, and it will continue working again.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Found a solution for me...

I use Comodo and there is a compatibility issue with Comodo and Chrome 45. Updating Comodo to 8.2.0.4703 has resolved my issue. This may be the same for others out there as well... At least I found what caused my problems...
