Hello. Win7 x64. Nube a Bit confused. Transferred 2 folders to USB Drive that I need to compare. Do I need to use the portable apps download or the regular WinMerge home site download, to install and use to perform a comparison & possible merge?

You can use whichever one you choose to use.
The PortableApps version is exactly the same as the regular version, just with some extra logic to handle keeping your settings with the app if you want to have the app installed and run from a USB drive.
