Good Light Weight PDF Reader

Hi all, this is my first post so bear with me. I have been looking for an alternative to Foxit Reader because of its license. I found a program that is very young, but seems to fit the bill. It is very light weight and very fast. I am in no way affiliated with the project, but just a happy user. It is SumatraPDF

WOW

Me to.
I have been looking for a really portable pdf app for quite some time and this one is just all I want. Although it took quite long to load my 2-page-pdf, it displayed everything correctly. Regshot couldn't find any registry keys except for the unavoidable ones. It stores its settings in a simple text file in the same folder the exe is in.
Thanks for folling this whit spot in my "missing app" list.

It's really slow and can't render some PDFs correctly.

Nice

Nice find. I'll package it in PAF for easy download and we'll have more folks test it. It will need a simplistic launcher to keep its data files in the Data directory.

Also, I have another open source PDF reader I'm playing with that has a Firefox plugin. There's no navigation/toolbar or printing. But it's a simple plugin DLL that I can have an installer for that installs right into Firefox Portable for viewing simple PDFs. When UPX compressed it's only 661KB. I can post that as well if folks would like to try it out.

Thats

good news.
I'm looking forward to testing it.
(but I don't think much testing will be necessary)

Glad to hear it.

Glad to hear it John. I think both of these would be useful for their different purposes. I knew this was slow on some things, but it has helped me with some 300+ page books that I have been reading.
I'll be excited to test these both when you get them posted.
Thanks John.

.

What exactly is your prob w/ Foxit's license?
Is it that you want an OSS app, and Foxit is not such an app?..
