Blender - Shared directory for addons?

When I install the Blender app, there are two builds of Blender; a 64-bit version and a 32-bit version. Is there a directory for addons, scripts and other stuff that is shared between both builds?

Else, users are forced to install two instances of the same addon in both blender and blender64.
