Could you add in your portable apps Micropolis? It is an open-source city simulator based on 1989 game SimCity Classic. Electronic Arts (which usually release proprietary software) has released in the GPLv3 license the source code.

is it very different to other apps in the same arena? y'see here we generally *package* existing apps to make them portable rather than actually build them from scratch which I understand is what Micropolis is about.
I could be wrong but then wiki sometimes is too
