I've done everything from the instructions, but nothing helps. My FF portable loads plug-ins , instelled in my hard drive. What could force FF portable to use plugins PORTABLE, not that ones, which I can see in Firefox, installed on my PC.

Local First

Firefox uses local first, so it'll use a local version of Java over the portable one now.

End of Life

It may not be worth much effort. Mozilla has already announced that it's killing off browser plugins within the coming months following the moves of Google with Chrome and Microsoft with Edge. It's already disabled in the 64-bit version of Firefox. Oracle also announced that it is killing off thee Java browser plugin itself in its entirety, so you'd have to use an outdated browser with an outdated Java to get it to work (a security nightmare).
