Bulk Rename Utility

Hello,

I know that this utility was once requested in the past on the forums, but the developer has only recently made a proper portable "No Installer" version of the software (As well as updating to v 3.0.0.0). I packaged it myself locally, but would love to see it added to the official list.

Ant Renamer

Does this have some feature that Ant Renamer lacks?

As this is freeware, we'd need to get permission from the publisher and host it. Unless the publisher is interested. Have you tried contacting them?

Yes BRU is a far better

Yes BRU is a far better renaming utility, you can see everything all on one screen with previews of changes and an undo option. I have not contacted the developer as I wasn't sure it was mt place to do so, but I would be more than happy to if you wanted

File timestamps

BRU has "Change files' creation and modification time stamps." which is good for correcting a set of photos taken with a camera which has an incorrect time set.

(darksabre76 has a development test of an old version of BRU here: https://portableapps.com/node/35629)

Hey John

I contacted Matt over at BRU and he said he would be glad for us to include their app as a PortableApp.

That would be fine for us, portableapps are a great collection.
We also plan to keep BRU up-to-date with new versions and releases.

Thanks
Matt
