These are two good programs... Image USB is good for the PortableApps project.
OSFClone is good for a standalone disk or USB. Linux boot, copies disks byte by byte so Linux or Windows O/S copies.

Yes the passmark ImageUSB tool is nice, and already portable in itself. So are other tools such as FTK Imager lite. If I recall OSFClone needs to be booted as a live cd in order to make a bit by bit copy of a disk.
