This one is very easy to make portable. It has a command line switch -p for portability. You only need to move one 'portable' directory to in and out of the program folder. If you read the development documentation here at PortableApps.com this could be your first shot at making apps portable by yourself ;o)
I did make it portable and it was one of the easier tasks among those programs I made portable.

I changed the extension of the kodi.exe to kodi.zip. Extracted the file, and set up a shortcut with -p portable. It works fine.
