Automatic update option

The automatic update, which has been available for some time now, might be a little better if there was an option to change the sequence in the process.

Now, all up[dates are downloaded before any updates are applied. If, for some reason, the process is interrupted, the whole process must be restarted.

If the process were to download and update each item before continuing to the next item, this would save the rerun from beginning problem.

Since some users might disagree, maybe there could be a platform option that lets the user decide how they want this to be handled.
