Corsair Utility Engine (CUE)

Has anyone considered this app as a candidate for portability? I tried searching, but I couldn't find any evidence either way.

I'll have a Corsair keyboard soon, and it'll store any macros or backlighting profiles I create in the CUE locally in the keyboard's memory, but I read that they won't perform properly without the CUE software running on the computer.

I was hoping CUE could be installed on a flash drive I could take with me if I want to use my keyboard at a different computer, but I wasn't sure if the nature of the software would lend itself to being so far removed from integration with the OS.

Anyone know?

I have a K70 myself. I believe it requires an installed drive which kind of kills portability. You may as well keep it installed since you won't be carrying your keyboard around with you.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
