Putty 0.67 infected with Trojan.Win32.Generic.T.lamm

Hi,

Our Corporate Virus scanner has picked up Putty 0.67 as being infected with the Trojan.Win32.Generic.T.lamm. Can the app admin please double check to see if this is a false positive?

Virus Total

You can always confirm things like that via Virus Total as indicated on the Support page. Here's the current listing showing it clean except for one false positive within the rather unreliable Rising engine: https://virustotal.com/en/file/25077ea64ff981b26a1a5cfd039617869cdebcee5...

I did run the distribution against Virus Total scan but just wanted to be sure considering that our corporate scanner picked it up.
