Thunderbird Portable not starting

Thunderbird portable on a portable hard drive has been working fine for 2 months. Now it will not start up.

I have the same problem!

I have the same problem!
Friday I still used it - no problems.
Saturday morning suddenly everything (Emails, accounts, addresses) was gone and Thunderbird asked me "Do you want to make a new account?".
NO, I don't!! I simply want my emails back!!! :-((((
