[Fixed] Firefox Developer Ed 49 fails to download/install

Trying to install by standard means - via the PAP.
“Download Error: File Not Found”... followed by a mozilla ftp path ref to the wrong version - 48.0a2. I believe that should be 49, as the PA page for FF Dev also indicates.

PAP = v14.1
OS = Windows 7

Confirmed

It's a packaging error. I'm working on a fix now.

Cool. Curious about two things:

1. Soon after I posted my comment, I decided to DL the installer from Sourceforge, and try to install it via the PAP menu - in part to see if/how that differed in any way from installing via the PAP's catalog. But also because I noticed that FF Dev v49a2 was uploaded to SF in June, and has had a ~1k DLs/wk. I.e., why is no one else having the same problem.

2. I have FF Beta PAF (v48) installed, and forgot that it was running at the time. So when I tried to install Dev, I got the error: “Please close all instances of Mozilla Firefox Developer... can not be upgraded while it is running.” While it mentions Dev, I assume that it should be interpreted as: close any FF period (which one should do regardless). But since I've never tried the non-release FF channels before, let alone the PAF versions, I figured I'd mention it.

Fixed in 49 Rev 2

This is fixed in Rev 2 which is now available. 49 was packaged accidentally pointing to 48. It would then auto-update to 49. Rev 2 downloads 49 directly. The old installer stopped working once 48 was removed from Mozilla's servers.

As to your other note, it just checks for firefox.exe as the current installer only checks for running processes not paths. Complete path checks are coming to later releases of the PortableApps.com Installer.
