Popup Blocker - Default Enabled - can you disable via ini file or alternative?

Hi all,

Did my research before posting here... couldn't see a similar request so I thought I would ask the question.

I have a bunch of users accessing the ChromePortable via a UNC path. This is because the apps they are accessing dont play nicely with IE (nothing new there!)

We have hit a snag where a pop up (genuine) appears in a webpage, and for the life of me, I cannot work out how to whitelist it...

I've tried the following:

- Reg Key import of this setting here - https://www.chromium.org/administrators/policy-list-3#DefaultPopupsSetting - but this doesn't apply to the Portable Version.
- Modifying the GoogleChromePortable.ini file with the same entry - no effect.

So far my workaround has been to instruct the user to right click the web page, page info, then explicitly allow the site to allow popups - but this is frustrating for the user - they don't understand why they have to retick this box.

So, long story short, is there functionality on the Portable Chrome App to whitelist specific sites for popups or turn it off entirely?

Thanks,
