Good day,

I have installed PA on my laptop.

If I want to copy them to my desktop, do I simply copy and paste the "D:\PortableApps" folder ?

yes, but whether it works as expected depends on your mix of apps
Google Chrome for instance might not behave as you expect but that is Google Chrome's fault not PA's
try it and see
