I wanted to know if there was a way to encrypt the portable apps folders. And only allow a user to access programs and files via the portable apps launcher. And finally, if you could have it so when you launched portable apps, it wouldn't work without a password entry.
Just a little extra security, should you lose your flash drive.

you could use also something like portable veracrypt, but for full functionality, you would need admin rights on the host computer.

You can use bitlocker for that. Windows 10 also has the bitlocker. At first you have to activate bitlocker. Go to Control Panel\System and Security\BitLocker Drive Encryption. And if you like third party apps then you can go for Veracrypt.
