is there a vault or folder password lock utility free for portable apps?

I've been looking but can't seem to find a good, simple password utility to lock a folder on my USB drive. Is there any freeware app that is simple and effective?

IF you're going to store important info in the folder, dont bother with password protection, its not secure. Someone could use Linux to bypass it (because windows software not work on linux). Go for encryption, i use challenger. (google for it dont know here i got it.) But if you have admin privs where ever you go use TrueCrypt (truecrypt.com).
