Can anyone tell me if there are issues with removing Firefox?
A few days ago I started having issues with Firefox not being able to complete certain tasks - sending form submissions, etc. So I thought I would remove portable FF and reinstall the again. After backing up my bookmarks, I tried to simple delete the PortableFirefox folder. However, I can delete everything but the following file:
PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\formhistory.dat
Actually, I can delete it, but when I refresh Explorer, it "magically" reappears.
How can I COMPLETELY remove FF? Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it's doing that after a reboot, something is up with your drive. Back everything up, reformat it, put everything back. Then see how it is. It may be on its way out. This may also be why your FF profile was getting corrupted.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
when I tried to do a backup using Portable Apps Backup, it choked on an html file on the disk and told me to run chdisk. chdisk didn't find any problems, but still couldn't backup. I am currently backing it up using WinRAR. It is finding issues with some files also.
I will update this thread with the results, in case anyone else needs them.
Thanks, John!
