Don't drill down so far - simply copy the AIMPPortable folder, and everything in it, wherever you'd like. Copying out \App\AIMP and then running the app would defeat the portability.
Thank you.
Yes, that is what I had done and what had not worked. What might be the reason for it?
Windows 10 Home, 64bit
I'll need more information to help you answer that. Include full path to the app, how you're starting AIMP Portable, details about your OS, and hopefully I can help you.
[EDIT] Note: I just tested, and AIMP Portable works just fine away from the platform. I tested by copying the directory X:\PortableApps\AIMPPortable to my desktop in a corporate environment, and, after deleting \Data to ensure a clean run, was able to run the program without issue.
If the problem is not finding your music, it could also be that the app was moved but not the music.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Many thanks.
I have Win 10, 64bit.
I just copied \PortableApps\PortableApps\AIMPPortable\App\AIMP and not \PortableApps\PortableApps\AIMPPortable. So I click the \Programs\Aimp\AIMP.exe to start Aimp. Aimp starts without my own settings, like it would start the first time, I guess.

Thank you for trying. I actually do not want \PortableApps\PortableApps\AIMPPortable folder.

No, that works properly. Respecively I do not use Aimps's library.

Ah, that explains it, then. By using AIMP.exe, and not AIMPPortable.exe, you're bypassing the portability. Like you said "Like it would start the first time", because that's essentially what you've done - you're starting it for the first time in that manner.
Yes, that will be the cause. I assume, there is a file / folder containing thw own settings or more I would have to move to the Aimp folder to use those settings with Aimp.
