I'm having a bit of trouble getting the Flash Player to work with Firefox Portable. I also can't find any recent information on how to get it working. Anyone know how I can get started on this?

The official installer can be found at http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer
Be sure to install both 32-bit and 64-bit as Firefox will only use the plugin for whatever mode Firefox is running as.
Alternative:
Have you tried installing it as PlayFlash from the firefox addons site.
For 32-bit https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/playflash/
For 64-bit https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/playflash-64bit/.
The Addon version make it easier for FireFox Portable users, provided you don't use FirefoxPortable in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes. I forget if the browser requires a restart after installing.
Keep in mind that sometime in the distant future flash will be unsupported by all browsers. See https://www.fxsitecompat.com/en-CA/docs/2016/plug-in-support-has-been-dropped-other-than-flash/ for more details regarding Firefox. Firefox 52 has dropped support for all plugins except for flash player.
