Needs some help if possible.
Done some searching and found the obvious:
https://portableapps.com/support/platform#addingotherapps
However my problem is the portal program I am using uses the structure:
..\Myapp\bin\myapp.exe
..\Myapp\AppData
..\Myapp\Core
(etc)
So the problem is while the 'reshresh' app, seems to pick up if you do:
..\Myapp\Myapp.exe
My program expects to be in ..\Myapp\bin\Myapp.exe
I have tried making a shortcut and placing the shortcut at:
..\Myapp\Myapp.exe(shortcut)
though the launcher doesn't seem to recognize shortcuts.
Is there anyway to get the launcher to run a EXE that is not exactly:
..\Myapp\Myapp.exe
(for the record Myapp in this case is Maxthon 5 as I wish to use the current version not the version 4 that is available as a PAF. I have verified that Maxthon 5 works fine for me from the portal drive, if I manually browse and launch it, would be nice to just get a icon in the launcher itself)
why not simply copy the exe to the right place?

I love PortableApps programs and use them a lot. However, I seriously don't like the PortableApps Platform. I use Quick Cliq. There is a bit of learning curve with it but does allow the user to do things that the PortableApps Platform doesn't accommodate. You can download Quick Cliq here and see if it is more suitable to you needs: http://apathysoftworks.com/
Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.
The platform will automatically detect programs that use bin shortly.
The ability to manually create links to other apps will come soon after.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Detecting programs in bin isn't in the "Upcoming Features Confirmed Coming In An Upcoming Release" list.
or is this going to be included in "Scan multiple paths for apps"?
