Exclude any Windows relations/user folders

I'm still using Windows XP on my 2 machines, so my user folder location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER-NAME\Application Data

Correct me if I am wrong, but with my Portable-Apps Platform installed and being
ran from a USB Flash Drive, each time I plug it in and run it, doesn't it make and
use a folder inside my Windows/USER directory, such as I stated above ?

If it does not, then disregard this entire post, with apologies.

BUT, if so, I want to know if there is a way to make it STOP using any part of
Windows, and keep everything self-contained on the USB Drive itself, instead
of using any Windows-User directories.

How can it be done ?

.... thanks.

Nevermind, I see that nothing

Nevermind, I see that nothing, no folders were created in my user apps app data directories that I could find.
For some reason I thought that it did that and I saw it before, maybe because I installed it locally on the hard drive
before, I'm not sure.

But anyway I do not see anything in my folders, so I guess my questions are answered.

Thanks.

Apps Will Use It

Some apps will temporarily use APPDATA while running. There is no way to avoid this. As long as the app is exited properly (don't do an unsafe eject, Windows crash, or shutdown Windows with apps running), all files and folders within APPDATA will be cleaned up.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
