it is not possible to update/install pdf-Xchange viewer nor editor.
can somebody help me?
Both apps are downloading and installing without issue both via the browser and via the PortableApps.com Platform in the test I just ran.
Please provide the details requested in the note when you post a new topic including "include system details (OS version, 32 vs 64-bit, install path, new vs upgrade, etc)." Are you trying to download via the browser or platform? Any other details.

I already used Pdf-Xchange for years. One day it started updatetinf -> error, no success.
Deleted the program from P.A. and tried to re-install from scratch (via the small window with collected potable apps) no success.
Is the error-message of any help? How can I upload a screenshot to attach it with this post?
If you wish to show a screenshot, you can upload it to any 3rd party image hoster like IMGUR. For an error, just hit CTRL-C with the message box in focus and it will copy the text that you can paste here. There's no need to attach an actual image.

That means that the file it downloaded was not valid, meaning the MD5 did not match. That generally means the download was incomplete or something modified the file between us and you either at the network level or it was infected after you downloaded it and before it tried to be run by the platform. Have you had issues downloading any other apps via the PortableApps.com Platform? What antivirus/firewall software are you running on your machine?
All the other downloads/updates work just fine.
I am running MacAffee antivirus software.
Is there any other way of downloading the portable pdf-Xchange setup?
You can download directly via your web browser and then install via the platform (Apps - Install a New App). But I'd highly recommend fully scanning your PC and checking if you have something else interfering. Those two apps are only downloaded from a single server and both copies are correct. The hashes in the database are correct. Both files install without issue. So something is happening either on your specific network or at your PC to the files.
Using the browser my virus checker first scanned, then loaded the file and I could install the app via platform.
