Semi-Simple

To get all the apps right now, you can right-click in the app store in the platform and click Select All to check off all the apps. This will allow it to download all the apps. There is one annoyance with this at present. You need to agree to licenses as the installers run. We're working on an update which will present the licenses to all apps you select upfront, so you can then leave it running in the background or walk away while it downloads/updates.

We're debating re-introducing a set of packaged suites that will be updated monthly or so. The downside to these is that unless they are updated every day, one or more apps will be out of date when the user downloads them. The other downside is that some of the apps we offer can't be legally packaged into a download. Google Chrome and Skype, for instance, have to be live downloaded from the publisher. So, both download the actual app at install time. (Pro Tip: If you find apps like that anywhere packaged directly, they're being done illegally and you should question anything you download from that source.) The other issue is around language. Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey, and some others are downloaded per-language. So, English users download the English installer, German users the German, and so on. The platform makes this all automatic and invisible to the user. If we packaged a suite, we'd likely have to pick a single language (English) for those apps. When we start doing packaged suites again, we'll announce it on site, RSS, social media, etc.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
