I just noticed this folder :
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Pending Pings
left behind after exiting FF portable.
Maybe it needs to be cleared up like crash-reports.
Noticed it in v55.

I can confirm this is an issue introduced in 55.0 as that's the version Firefox added this. I'll ensure that the next release handles removal of this empty folder.

Not sure if that's a bug.
