Staged Folders for where Internet not availalble

Hi -

Firstly, love portable apps... I find it a really convenient way of having apps I use available to use either on my own PC's or others using DropBox...

Anyway, I have an issue and was thinking something like PortableApps - if not Portable Apps itself - might be a solution. I have an air-gapped network with no internet access. Is it possible to get the portable Apps client to search a prestaged, pre-populated repository of permitted apps?

Eg. Have a filestore on the network that contains all the required apps, so when a client launches PortableApps - it checks this repository for updates, rather than going onto the internet? If a newer version exists, download it.

I'm thinking it will be possible to do what I need to do with a simple scripts using the portable app binaries, but if the functionality already exists within the client- no need to duplicate it!!
