Windows has a limit on how long a path can be. C:\OneDirectory\AnotherDirectory\YourApp.exe is a path. Some apps have *really* long paths within them. LibreOffice and OpenOffice in particular. So, while they may work just fine from C:\PortableApps\LibreOffice, they may not be able to be copied to C:\SomeDirectory\AnotherDirectory\AThirdDirectory\PortableApps\LibreOffice. You can increase the path limit in Windows but some apps may not be able to work with these extended paths.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
