All of a sudden since latest Windows 10 update The RegistryCleaner and the DiskCleaner were uninstalled by Defender without chance to provide an exception to them.
Had to disable Defender entirely to reinstall and run these both apps on 4 boxes.
I know from Malwarebytes that it tried to quarantine these apps too, but at least one could easily give an exception to them.
Both show as completely clean in nearly 70 antivirus engines except for a single false positive in Cylance (really common):

Even with new Defender definitions the behaviour stays. When I disable the Realtime protection it works but this setting doesn't stay, something penetrant keeps it enabling.
I'm using threat definition version 1.257.615.0 last updated at 1am on Nov 17, 2017, which is the current set. It shows both apps clean for both their installers and the extracted versions of the apps.

I'm really confused now, as it happened on 4 different boxes/configurations/setups.
When I check the files directly with Defender it finds nothing, if I turn on real time surveillance they get quarantined as soon as i start them and I have to reinstall.
Both work without issue here. Are you on a corporate PC? They can set it to remove specific apps automatically.

No they are all private, 32/64 bit mixed 4 different users, one of them is the little Asus which you own also
The strange thing happened directly after the last Windows Update cycle, never had that before.
I went into the popup from Defender directly after the blocking and restored all single events from the beginning date onwards (13.11.) and then it let do the Wise proggies do their job
