Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not but does anybody know if it is possible to change the column headings in Calc, i.e instead of A it could be something like Vendor Number.

you can change the column headings or the numbers. They are needed by every formula you type/use. But you can use the first column for this kind of info. That's what I do.
