Common Google Chrome Portable package for 32 bit and 64 bit

Can we please have a common Google Chrome Portable package for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions just like Firefox ? Why is Google Chrome Portable 64 bit distributed as a separate package ? Pardon my lack of technical knowledge. I hope Mr. Haller or someone out there has the proper answer to this.

Big and barely functional

Chrome is currently using a clunky custom launcher with custom handling in ANSI for password management. We'll need to either write a custom converter to get it to Unicode, drop existing passwords and warn users, or drop the password handling and require users to log in to Google to get passwords since that's the way Chrome is purposely designed. Then the app will be 330MB+ installed, which is absurdly huge for a browser. Chrome is much larger and clunkier than Firefox, so the portable version just barely works as it is. And passwords, personal certificates and a bunch of other stuff are currently broken as Chrome is designed to *not* be portable. So, I'll likely do it at some point, but most users probably won't like the end result.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
