After unpacking all of the necessary files and dragging the "Install 1.image" file onto the Mini vMac icon, it starts up and asks for a disc file. However, when I drag the "hfs24m.dsk" file onto the window, it gives a screen like this:

Then it wont continue further.
Anyone know whats going on?

Should have everything you need to make it work, just frop the vmac.exe file in the same directory as those two, and drag disk image onto it.
thanks for the files, but it still does the same thing and wont continue with the installation.
That's weird, works fine here...
You should have the vmac.rom file, the vmac emulator and the disk image in a directory together, then drag disk onto emulator...
somehow, mine works in tandum with project 64 and all i have to do is load install disk 1 and 2 then hfms20.dsk. only had to do the installs once, after it stopped working. BTW, if you go the the 'mac on stick /w/ windows trouble forum, above my 2 idiodic posts on the second page, there is a pre packaged .zip file that works just fine. after you get it, go into the bin file, there should be the mini vmac icon, click it. if it gives you the disk not found, go to file on the emulater window, 'load disk image'. then chouse hfms20.dsk and it should work fine. youl have to do this every time but your settings will be saved if you 'shut down the "mac"'.
