I want to put the Firefox PortableESR folder on my desktop and use it.
It works without problems, but is this usage problematic?

You can use any of our apps from your local hard drive. Note that Firefox Portable doesn't integrate with Windows (default browser, etc) and that if you try to set it as the default from within Firefox, it will set it as the default in local mode, not as a portable app.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
