Is it possible to tell Backup to backup files from another Flash Drive other than the one it is installed on. It apparently only wants to back up files from the device it is installed on. I was hoping to do other drives that do not have any PA stuff on them.

The purpose of the platform's backup feature is to backup your documents/files, your app data, or your full PA.c drive. It's not a general purpose backup utility. You could use 7-Zip portable to backup a full drive as that's basically what the PA.c Platform's backup feature is, a specialized GUI to make backing up your files as easy as possible.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
