Does 'Private Browsing by PortableApps.com' still fulfill its purpose or should it now be re-positioned or officially retired?
In 4.1 the built-in extensions are now deactivated and I wonder if, overall, users trying the app believing it provides "a more-advanced private browsing feature" are being encouraged to have expectations that are simply not being met.
Perhaps it still has value but it's not clear to me from the description and the current configuration where that value lies - though I'd be happy to be enlightened.
Apologies if I should have posted elsewhere. I couldn't find anywhere more specific though I thought I'd encountered such in the past.
I've pushed out an updated version with support for Firefox Quantum. Existing users will need to reset their profile.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thanks for such a very speedy response - impressively awesome.
Updating via Platform isn't working for me - but perhaps that's not a universal, persistent problem. It gave 'not valid and can not be installed' error on each attempt over an extended period of time.
I downloaded 5.0 from its home-page, deleted 4.1 (not customised significantly) and installed 5.0 successfully.
