U3 Verbatin...?

Okay, so today, I was at Staples. (Office store for the some of you that are unaware). And, I saw a flash drive, it was a Verbatin U3 Smart Drive-1GB. So, I'm wondering if I shuld get this for the autorun mechanism. Except, I'm not sure how good the drive will be. I was hoping to get a Kingston U3 Smart Drive for the same purpose, but I can't find them around locally. Has anyone had any major problems with a Verbatin drive? I always buy there Recordable DVD's for rando purposes cause they're nice and cheap, and they work fine.

The drive can be read about hear...

It's 30 bucks. Should I go for it?

Alright.

Sounds like nobody has had any problems with it.

Thanks so much for all of your input. Blum

Haha, I know.

It's not any good at all. My brother has one. I just wanted to get it for the Autostart function, and try out the password protection thing with truecrypt. I'd uninstall U3 and put PortableApps on for sure.

Oh

I forgot about that, but yeah U3 is only good because we can hack it and put anything we want on it.

Alright.

I'll go but it in a couple of days, and find out what I can do with it. And then scratch off that hideous U3 logo. Shock Can you imagine, a PortableApps logo. Maybe sometime if John gets a deal to have it loaded on to flash drives.

I'm sure..

You can find a cheaper one. o.o I got my 4 GB Sandisk for $60. Of course it was on sale. Normal price was around $130.

You should be able to get a 1 GB for around $20.

Depends where you live.. I'm just using the U3 Menu myself >.>.. Nothing wrong with it..

If your not stuck on Sandisk

If your not stuck on Sandisk or U3, you can get a 2GB CORSAIR Flash Voyager GT for 27.99 on NewEgg.
I just ordered the 8GB model, it got great reviews.
