I run the menu from a Ativa usb-stick. As my Toshiba satellite laptop (XPsp2)has no USB2, I use a PCMCIAcard for a USB2 connection, which speeds up the communication with a Wifi-adapter as well as for the usb-stick. This worked well before with the Speedtouch-alcatell adapter. To use the 11.g protocol, I got the Siemens Wifi USBadapter 108. This works also well on the USB2 port. But, when I insert the USBstick, the computer crashes. When both are allready connected at startup, the wifi connection, will simply not start at all. There is no problem, when I put another non-port.apps-menu USBstick in the same port.
What could be the problem? Is there a way to set the menu (or computer)that this problem could be solved?

Problem solved! This adapter seems to use more power than the others. The PCMCIAcard comes with a cable to feed it with power from the mouseport. Just connecting this solved the problem.
