Registry and drag & drop

I've read a post at nsis forum http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?p=3154300#post3154300 and tried what was written.
That's true.

I don't understand why, if nsis doesn't support simultaneous drag'ndrop and writing registry, PortableApps which is based on the same code, can do it.

Could you explain me?
