OperaPortable is using Official Opera Portable. But using --ppapi-flash-path="pepflashplayer.dll" command line option Flash Player can't load Flash objects, but loads Flash plug-in and identifies at https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
Your Flash Version - 99.999.999
Your browser name - Opera (PPAPI)
Your Operating System (OS) - Windows (Windows 7)
[Launch]
ProgramExecutable=Opera\launcher.exe
CommandLineArguments=--ppapi-flash-path="pepflashplayer.dll"
...
Using Opera Official launcher.exe --ppapi-flash-path="pepflashplayer.dll" directly all works great. Identifies correct Flash version at https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
Your Flash Version - 30.0.0.113
Any ideas?!
It seems Opera Portable doesn't have a working directory set, so that could be playing a role. By default, the working directory is usually the OperaPortable directory rather than OperaPortable\App\Opera. You could try the following:
1. Open up the OperaPortable.ini file within the OperaPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher directory
2. After the ProgramExecutable= line, enter a new line and have it be WorkingDirectory=%PAL:AppDir%\Opera
3. Place pepflashplayer.dll within the OperaPortable\App\Opera directory
4. Preserve your command line entry above
5. Launch OperaPortable.exe
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks. All works great. You need to add WorkingDirectory and CommandLineArguments after ProgramExecutable. See below
[Launch]
ProgramExecutable=Opera\launcher.exe
WorkingDirectory=%PAL:AppDir%\Opera
CommandLineArguments=--ppapi-flash-path="pepflashplayer.dll"
Do you think to add Flash support for Opera Portable by default?
If you need to get latest Flash version without installing search for Updater-Flash based on AFPIunpack.exe.
Hi, thanks for the info.
Where I can find the latest Flash PPAPI plugin? Or the Flash-Updater base on AFPIunpack?
Thanks
R.
Hi!
Did not remember in which version Flash stop working. Don't know how to fix it. Does anybody have any idea how enable Flash on Opera?
