Updater requires to click through all installers

I have two machines with similar PA.c installs. When I periodically run "Update all apps", on one machine all apps are updated and all I have to do is click "Finish." On the other, I have to click through the installers of all the apps . The set of apps updating usually the same.

What would make the second install require all that clicking?

thanks in advance.

Installers Can't See Updater

When this happens, it means the installers don't see the updater running or can't find it on the drive. This can be cause by a few issues with Windows. Often a simple reboot will fix it. If it doesn't, you'll need to check your drive permissions, ensure you're not running as admin, check your drive for errors, etc.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

This has always been the case

This has always been the case for me. I've been using portableapps for many years now, and when using the platform launcher, it's always been manual per app.

Kill PortableAppsPlatform.exe

Are you keeping the platform running when updating, or does the Portable AppsPlatform.exe get killed while the updater is running, possibly inadvertently?
