Kingston's DataTraveler Secure

Hello, does anyone have experience with Kingston's DataTraveler Secure USB drive? I like the idea of hardware-based encryption but are concerned that it won't work well with Portable Thunderbird. Ultimately, I am trying to replace a San Disk Titanium that has worked well until recently... it does bad things when I touch it with any static electricity!

Thanks,
Bill

re: Kingston's DataTraveler Secure

i have a kingston datatraveler 2gb privacy elite--got it September 2006 and have not had any problems! i run the portapp suite without problems...once you "decrypt" the drive, it acts like a regular flash...

wish i could find way to do the same type of encryption on my other flash drives (sandisk)--if only TrueCrypt could run without admin rights...the datatraveler privacy elite runs on any computer i have used--hotel biz centers and school library included!
