Hi John. First of all, great job with portable Firefox. I wonder If there's a list of popular extension that work/didn't work in pFX.
So far I only tried AdBlock Plus, and it was ok. It would be helpful for everyone if there's such a list.

Never tried Adblock Plus. However the standard AdBlock will not install.
Just tried AdBlock plus and had the same result.
Error window pops up saying: Not a Valid Install Package.
PFF ver 1.5 and tried the latest ver of the above mentioned Extensions.
downloaded local with same effect. Changed Cashe to 1000 as suggested in the FAQ, same effect.
The only time you get that issue is when the actual package is corrupt. It has nothing to do with Firefox or Portable Firefox.

Both AdBlock and AdBlock Plus work just fine in Portable Firefox. I've been using them consistantly this whole time and always have AdBlock in my PFF on my key. I just verified by installing both from addons.mozilla.org. Both installed without a hitch.

As far as I am aware it is a problem with the new version of AdBlock.
*EDIT* It seemed to be a problem with a corrupted version of AdBlock on Moz.
