As a part of updating our stats system to work with the new app directory page layouts, I noticed an error in calculations for the overall download numbers that resulted in millions of double counted downloads. I've fixed the math and removed the duplicates. I'm erring on the side of caution and throwing out numbers that appear to be due to hack/probe attempts as well. The numbers may change and possibly jump back up a bit as I continue my analysis. Apologies for any confusion resulting from this.

Where are the numbers?
Could we have a page with histogram of downloads of all applications?
It's just an overall number at the top of the page. The numbers will be integrated into the individual app pages and most popular and hottest lists at some point in the future. There are no plans for graphs, histograms, or a list of all apps.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
