Sorry to hear. Could you please "include system details (OS version, 32 vs 64-bit, install path, new vs upgrade, etc)." as mentioned on the new post page? Could you also please try a clean install to a separate location... eg. download it from the site and install it to a custom directory on your Desktop to see if the same error occurs or if it's having trouble reading a specific app.
Also, try rebooting as that sometimes clears this issue.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
