Having updated the platform to V16 I notice that the popup menu is now almost all black icons - doesn't look very good.

The submenu icons are using modern iconography to match the default modern theme. In an upcoming release, the submenu icons will switch to match the theme, so if you like the look of the old-school PA.c Menu with Windows 7 or earlier-style looks, the submenu icons will match.

3 years later, the submenu icons are still all in black ? Every new release, I searched for a setting to change back to the announced "old-school" iconography. "Modern" is not always equal to "better"
What am I overlooking ?
Can I use a icon-library from an older release ? Which one ?
There have been other priorities. And the vast majority of users use the menu and not the taskbar menu, so it hasn't seen any love in a while. You're welcome to contribute some code for it if you'd like.
Unfortunately, you can't patch in the icons from an older release at the moment, even by copying files over.
